It is a requirement of beauty insurance for you to have a patch test. This is non negotiable and we cannot get around it.

Because we cannot guarantee that we use the same products as somewhere you may have had treatments before, we cannot accept previous patch tests done elsewhere.

It is a insurance requirement of every beautician to take their own patch test with their own products.

In addition hormonal changes or changes in medication can cause us to react to products that we haven't previously reacted to. So we test to make sure we are keeping you as safe as possible while we are working with you.

A patch test takes no more than 15 minutes.

We just need to clarify that there are no contra indicators to you having the treatment and then we go ahead and apply a small amount of product to test your reaction or lack of reaction to it.

A patch test is free.

It is done 48 hours before your appointment and costs you nothing.
